Falmouth was once the busiest port town in the world. On a single one could have observed as many as sixteen cargo ships in the port. This sleepy port town was also considered very wealthy. Relics of buildings and landmarks together with well-preserved Georgian Architecture speak today of her former glory.
Falmouth is situated on the north coast of Jamaica with easy access to a variety of exciting attractions. It has the largest cruise shipping port in the Caribbean and was built just a few years ago. There are various walking and motor tours in the town itself. Joining one of these tours will certainly open your awareness of it’s history.
